About Montie
Meet this shy girl who will steal your heart.
Montie has had a very difficult time in her life coming from a farm where she grew up with 27 other dogs and only one owner a lady so Montie can be very shy.
Montie does have a heart of gold and will definitely need a kind soft hand and quiet home with someone home most of the time and she does get separation anxiety.
Montie will take time to trust you as the only person she has only ever known one person. I think she might like another kind soft dog. Montie would definitely prefer to be a home body as the outside world can be a scary place for her.
She is toilet trained and does absolutely love to sleep on the end of the bed and sit on the lounge.
Montie is vaccinated microchipped and regularly wormed and fed a high quality diet. She is desperately seeking her forever home now!

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal will then take place. You must bring advise Waggy Tails if you are bringing your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. You will need to provide details of your dogs full vaccination status prior to bringing to the Sanctuary.
4. Waggy Tails does not offer trial period for puppies under the age of 6 months who are adopted out. Please ensure you are ready to adopt now. Waggy Tails will do their best to ensure you and your new dog are a good match.
3. Mircrochip transfer takes place after 7 days. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee may be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $500).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their cost from date of adoption.
