About Polly Pocket
*In foster care in Wollstonecraft, Sydney*
Polly Pocket is a gorgeous, confident and playful girl who's absolutely none the worse for wear from her 'rustic' start!
After being found living in an outdoor pot plant with her two-week-old kittens, she immediately blossomed in her foster carer's home, clearly delighted with her safe new environment :) Her kittens have since been weaned, and Polly now enjoys long play sessions with her wand toy, luxurious naps in bed (or on your lap, preferably with a snuggly blanket), and - above all else - meal time!
If you're looking for a sweet and confident companion, Polly is your purrfect match!
Like all Maggie's pets, Polly Pocket is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm pretty easy, really! As long as you promise to love and care for me, and give me loads of toys to play with and delicious food to eat, I reckon that sounds like heaven :)
Oh, and a bonus for you - I'm part guard dog! Contrary to running away when I hear strangers at the door, I stand my ground - sitting tall with a gentle growl until they come in, at which time I greet them happily. Any friend of yours is a friend of mine!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, I'd say. I like to play with my foster carer in short bursts - usually before and after her work day - and I'm good at keeping myself entertained when she's gone. I've even been known to chase my own tail when I'm feeling a bit bored! But sleeping is one of my favourite things too.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Kind children who respect my space would be wonderful company, I'm sure!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I haven't had much exposure to other cats or dogs since arriving in care, but with the right introductions I think we could make it work!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
