About Nala
Nala (aka Narlzy, Nala-poo, Little Miss, Big Booty Dog to her foster family) is the most gorgeous and sweet little lady you will ever meet. Affectionate, energetic and eager to please, she is a smartie pants too - this clever girl can sit, stay, come and wait! A bundle of energy and joy in a pawfect and convenient miniature model, we do not doubt that Nala will provide endless love, laughs and cuddles to her forever home! Nala is truly the girliest of girls; she adores gazing at herself in mirrors (but can you blame her?). Bubbly, petite, and oh so sweet, Nala is the cutest little lady grey you’ll ever meet!
Nala is full of beans and loves to walk and join in on any adventure with her family. She has shown a great deal of interest in other dogs and has had some wonderful interactions with them on walks, as well as had successful experiences with other greyhounds. Although this sassy little miss isn't particularly interested in toys, she really thrives on plenty of exercise and is definitely not your stereotypical couch potato.
Nala's ideal home will have a backyard for her to play in, and plenty of action going on; she is happiest with others. She can be left alone for moderate periods of time, but certainly prefers when others are home. She is inquisitive and active so would love a family that does things with her and takes her on adventures!
A perfect day for Nala starts and ends with lots of company. A long walk, plenty of cuddles, and a pup cup or two go a long way towards making Nala’s heart happy. Lots of exercise, mental stimulation and affection = Nala’s dream day!

Adoption details
STEP 1 – ENQUIRE & EOI FORM:

If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family.
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat process and next steps.
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $375.00 and must be paid before the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, we urge you to contact us to try and work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and all paperwork and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Access to our private Facebook page for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support!
