About Clarissa
Meet Clarissa, a charming Shar Pei with a heart full of love and the most impeccable manners you've ever seen!
True to her breed, Clarissa has the typical Shar Pei traits, including wrinkles aplenty - loyal, reserved with strangers while also being independent and stubborn. With her calm and loving nature, she's perfect for a family setting, as she gets along beautifully with both children and other dogs. Clarissa thrives in the presence of her humans and will fit seamlessly into a home bustling with activity or a quieter place with someone who’s often around to keep her company.
Clarissa's gentle demeanour and excellent manners make her an absolute joy to have around. Perhaps this girl was a cat in a past life - she actually dips her head in for a cuddle and purrs when she's getting cuddled!
Still a bit headstrong on lead but improving.

Clarissa has recently undergone entropian eye surgery.
Adoption details
* Once an interest is lodged on a pei or other animal, a member of the team will call the person and follow up within 24 hours of receiving
* an adoption form is emailed to to the applicant for completion once the initial call has quantified a fit for the said animal
* Once the application is received back to SPRQ with yard photos a meet for the animal is organised
* If the meet is a success, Adoption is then activated with all relevant paperwork emailed including MC transfer / all vet work certificates (C5 / desex etc)
* Team member follows up weekly for 4 weeks to ensure all is going well
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
