Flora is a sweet and easy going girl. She’s low maintenance, tidy, and content with the simple pleasures in life: good food, a soft bed, and the comfort of knowing she’s safe. She's one of those cats who are just easy to have around: she loves her food, uses her litter tray perfectly, and enjoys playing with her toys when she thinks no one’s watching.

Flora came into our care after being rescued from a train line with her two kittens, terrified, but on a mission to keep them safe. Since then, she’s made beautiful progress in foster care. Where she once hid in fear, she now greets her carer each morning with quiet excitement, ready for breakfast and her favourite treat (Churu licky treat, served straight from the hand).

Flora will start out cautiously in a new space or with new people and will retreat when something startles her, but her curiosity always wins out. You’ll often see her peeking from behind something, making sure her little world is safe again before coming out for a gentle play or a roll near your feet. When she feels secure, she rubs her face on furniture and responds to soft pats with grateful purrs.

Flora is cat-friendly and thrives around other felines. She’s affectionate and playful with her cat companions and could happily join a home with another gentle cat. She’s fine with calm, respectful dogs and would suit an adult or quiet teen household where she can continue to blossom at her own pace.

Flora asks for patience, kindness, and a safe place to call her own. In return, she’ll reward you with trust, quiet companionship, and the joy of watching a once-scared little soul grow into confidence and love.
