Meet Morris, also known as Lord Morris, the Gravy Connoisseur and Cuddle Royalty.

Morris is a handsome tabby boy with a gentle soul and a heart as soft as his coat. He’s calm, affectionate, and happiest when he’s with his humans. His two great loves are cuddles and gravy, and he’ll never say no to either. Whether he’s curling up beside you or napping close by, Morris is the kind of cat who makes a home complete just with his calm and affectionate presence.

Morris first came into care in late 2024 after being found injured in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. He was treated, desexed, and microchipped, like so many street cats we take in, but his story took another turn when he slipped out of care and vanished. Despite weeks of searching, he couldn’t be found - We were heartbroken. Then, almost a year later, the miracle call came from the pound: Morris had been handed in by a member of the public, and was finally safe again.

Now back in foster care, this once-lost boy has decided that street life is well behind him. He’s rediscovered the joy of comfort, kindness, and a warm bed (he specifically loves igloo and enclosed beds), and he’s loving and appreciating every second.

Morris gets along well with other cats and would be happy to join an existing cat who prefers calm adult cat company over a crazy kitten / teenager energy. He would be equally happy as a solo cat, as long as his people spend time with him and allow him the opportunity to love them. He currently shares his foster home with a gentle dog who respects his space, and with the right introductions, would learn to live with a cat friendly dog, in his adoptive home. His ideal home is an adult home, or one with calm teenagers
