Shonee is a gentle, smaller sized kelpie. She is a big cuddler who loves all people. She is toilet trained and good in the house (although she does steal toilet rolls).

She is a working dog and has moderate (but not crazy) energy. She requires one good walk/ run as well as some stimulation during the day. At the end of the day she is very happy to snuggle up and sleep.

Being a young dog she would love a playmate or mentor dog. She has started her basic training and needs to continue this process. Like all Kelpies, she is a quick learner.

She had eye surgery when she came into care. The stitches are still dissolving and she needs her eye cleaned twice a day with drops once per day. The vet anticipates that this may be needed for 6-8 weeks and that it will be all good once they do dissolve.

She has been a joy to foster and will make a lovely family member.
