Lola is yearning for a forever home where people will appreciate her sensitive nature and will help her to become a calm, untroubled dachshund. Lola is affectionate, spirited and energetic. She would make a lovely companion for an individual or couple who lead a quiet and predictable life. Lola has thrived in a rural setting with little to unsettle her but many interesting smells to pique her curiosity, hound nose to the ground.
Lola does have her challenges; reactivity to sudden or unfamiliar sounds and a dislike of all dogs, small animals and birds. However Lola loves people of all ages.
Lola needs a home that has the following features:
New owners who are breed experienced
Patient owners are familiar with rewards based training and can confidently develop positive behaviours
A home in the country with no near neighbours
Someone who is home most of the day
