Trey is a natural-born explorer who enjoys car rides and will happily make himself comfortable in the backseat as your trusty co-pilot.

Trey is at his best with a guardian who possesses a strong, steady voice, ideally a male, as he responds well to deep, calm commands. Although he enjoys cuddles from everyone, he feels most secure with a firm yet gentle presence. He likes plenty of space and will be delighted to accompany someone with a love for the outdoors, possibly a tradesperson with an on-the-go routine.

Sometimes a bit too curious for his own good, Trey sticks his nose into everything, delighting in endless exploration. He isn't a fan of having an audience for his more private moments, so he prefers to do his business in solitude. In busier environments, a proper harness will help manage his instinctive pulling when excitement peaks.

Trey is house-trained, though he occasionally has little mishaps when overly excited. He doesn't particularly like little dogs, but with patience and training, he can be guided to be less reactive on walks. However, he’s been know to be open to making friends with bigger dogs when introduced properly on a leash.

Trey’s ideal home is a pet-free environment so not other dogs, and without children. His loyal personality shines through when he's given the care and attention he needs, and he's known to gently place his paws on you to extend cuddle time.
