About Harold
Say hello to Handsome Harold
Harold is a one-year-old ginger and white heart-stealer who is absolutely ready to charm his way into your life. Found as a stray in Taylors Lakes, this medium-haired cutie clearly missed the memo about being "street tough" because he is all about people, pats, and affection. If you offer him a scratch behind the ears, be prepared, he will lean in with full commitment and a very happy face.
Harold has been through a lot for such a young guy and has handled it like a total superstar. He has had one of his hind legs amputated and is doing amazingly well, scooting around with confidence and enthusiasm. Sometimes he needs a little extra help scratching behind his ear, since he may not quite realise that one leg is no longer there, and let's just say he really appreciates any assistance. Seriously, you will earn best-friend points instantly.
While waiting for surgery and recovery, Harold spent time in foster care where he could relax, heal, and escape all the weird shelter smells. This gave him the chance to show off his true personality, affectionate, gentle, and always keen to say hello.
He is usually the first to greet you, happy to hang around for as many pats and cuddles as you can offer. Easygoing, loving, and full of charm, Harold will happily be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your daily dose of joy.
If you are looking for a cat who will greet you with love and steal your heart without even trying, Harold is your guy. Come meet him at North Melbourne Lost Dogs Home, you might just meet your new best friend.
