🌷 Meet Poppy — our gorgeous 1-year-old Cattle X girl!

Poppy is a small pocket rocket with boundless working-dog energy. She loves being with her people and will roll over for belly rubs at every opportunity. This sweet and loyal girl is learning that the world is a safe place. She’s gaining confidence every day and slowly becoming more comfortable on the lead. With ongoing guidance and training, she’ll continue to blossom.

Poppy is super smart and eager to please. In just her first week in care, she’s already learnt her name, mastered the doggie door, and knows how to sit! She’s also very food-motivated, making her a joy to train. Poppy thrives on gentle encouragement, positive reinforcement and a calm patient training style.

Since coming into care, Poppy has started to enjoy her life and having the company of other dogs around. She would benefit from a calm, confident, playful dog to show her the ropes and help her settle into her new home.

Poppy has not been tested with cats or pocket pets. She is good with children of all ages.

Poppy’s yard needs to be completely fenced, ready for a dog with permanent fixtures in place. The yard must be cleared of rubbish and choke hazards, with no gaps in the fences or gates.

Poppy is in foster care in Ryde, NSW and is not available for interstate adoption. Her adoption fee is $700 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms and microchipped.
