About Walter STA014410
Meet Walter, a fellow with rugged good looks and a heart full of love. He's a guy who's weathered life's challenges and emerged with a wisdom that adds character to his striking appearance. His eyes tell stories of his adventures, and they are patiently searching for a special person who can offer the love and care he truly deserves.
Walter may be a bit shy and timid when meeting new people, but once he feels secure, his true personality shines through. Beneath that tough exterior lies a sweetheart who is gentle and warm-hearted. A bit of a smoochie at times, Walter won’t hesitate to show his affection once he gets to know you, delighting in the companionship of those who take the time to earn his trust.
With his gentlemanly ways, Walter captivates everyone he bonds with, creating a serene presence that instantly feels like home. If you’re looking for a companion who’s gracious and appreciative, Walter would make for the ideal roommate.
Providing Walter with a nurturing and patient environment will allow his affectionate nature to flourish. If you're ready to open your heart to a special cat with a past as rugged as his handsome features, Walter is waiting to meet you.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
