Meet Kai, the sweetest tank of love you'll ever meet.

This gentle, affectionate boy has a heart as big as his head and a talent for melting into your lap (or trying to, even if he doesn't quite fit). If Kai had it his way, he'd spend 25 hours a day, 8 days a week glued to your side. He's still learning the beauty of being in a household alone, as he loves his humans SO much. A bit of independence training will go a long way for Kai.

Kai's days are full of simple joys- sunbathing, rolling on his back in the grass, and carrying his favorite toys around like prized possessions. He's a big fan of tennis balls, tug ropes, and anything that squeaks. Fetch is his favorite game, and when playtime is over, he'll carry his toy around like the prize catch of the day, before happily curling up for a snooze.

Kai would thrive in a home with secondary school aged kids or older, where he can get plenty of affection and attention. He'd also prefer to be your one and only furry friend- he's happiest in a single dog home where he can feel safe and secure after a rough start with another dog. Right now, he'd prefer to skip dog parks and other busy dog areas while he continues to build his confidence.

Don't let his goofy grin fool you - this boy's got brains, too! He's completely house-trained, snoozes peacefully through the night, and proudly shows off his tricks, including sit, down, and wait. He loves to impress his people (especially when there's a tasty reward waiting).
