Meet Voxie,
Voxie is a confident, affectionate, and one-of-a-kind cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s best suited to experienced cat owners who can appreciate her mix of sass and sweetness. Voxie thrives in a calm, quiet home where she can set the pace and enjoy life her way.
This chatty girl loves attention and has no problem letting you know exactly how she feels — she’s vocal, expressive, and full of character. Voxie adores being picked up, carried, and cuddled, and she enjoys pats all over. She’s affectionate in her own quirky way, and once she’s comfortable, she’ll happily soak up all the love you can give.
She’s open to meeting respectful children aged 10 and up — just the kind who understand that a cat like Voxie appreciates a few boundaries. Her medium energy levels make her a great fit for those who want a relaxed but interactive feline friend. While toys don’t particularly interest her, she still has her playful moments that will make you smile.
One of Voxie’s most unique traits is her growl — but don’t be fooled! It’s not a warning, it’s just her way of chatting. Whether she’s happy, relaxed, or curious, Voxie’s little rumble is part of her charm. And when it comes to food? She’s refreshingly easy going and will happily eat whatever’s on offer.
Voxie is the full package: affectionate, confident, social, and delightfully unique. If you’re ready for a cat with personality and a touch of attitude, Voxie might just be your perfect match.
Voxie will not be suitable to live with dogs.
As for cats, Voxie is not suitable to live with cats as she prefers to be the only cat in the home.
We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Voxie has already experienced living on the streets and she enjoys being inside where she feels safe. If she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat she can live her best life possible.
Staff Comments: Voxie is a curious girl who is also very vocal. She's eager to explore her surrounds and has quite a bit to say as she does. She's an independent girl some would argue is more room-mate than cat. She's easy going and like to be able to do her own thing on her own terms.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
