Sweet and Gentle: Dot is a truly sweet and gentle kitten who moves through the world with grace. Her soft nature makes her a truly rewarding friend to have.
A Quiet Player: She loves to be playful, especially with wand toys, but her little nervous system can get spooked easily. She needs games that are calm and predictable, allowing her to chase and pounce from a safe distance.
Shy but Social: Dot is naturally timid and quiet, preferring observation over leaping into the center of a room. However, she is making steady progress! Every day she gains a little more trust in her surroundings.
Sisterly Love (from afar): She loves her sister, but she can easily get overwhelmed with their fast play. She prefers calm companionship over rough-and-tumble games, often watching the action from a cozy, secure spot.

Dot is looking for a sanctuary, a place where she can feel completely safe and valued for who she is.
A Quiet Environment: She needs a quieter home without too much boisterous activity, loud noises, or constant foot traffic. A predictable routine will help her confidence soar.
Patience is Key: We are looking for someone with patience who understands that earning her trust will take time and gentle encouragement. The moment she curls up and purrs on your lap will be one of the most special moments you'll ever experience.
Soft Introductions: If there are existing pets, they must be very gentle and calm. She would likely do best with an older, relaxed pet rather than another fast-playing kitten.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
