Before applying for a puppy, please remember that welcoming a pup into your home is very exciting but also a huge commitment. Puppies require daily exercise/playtime, positive and varied socialisation, training and playtime. When applying, please consider your work hours, holidays, and how busy your personal life is. Puppies will need someone who is home for most of the day with regular attention especially in those first six months after adoption.

Hi my name is Jesse. I am a bit of a shy boy who is still learning about the world outside of the yard I grew up in until I came to SAFE Bunbury. They say I am a smart boy though! I am in foster care with a toddler and a newborn baby. I get on great with them! I do everything with my toddler buddy, even run under the sprinklers! I'm also in care with pet rabbits but I do like to chase them!

I have a kind, gentle nature and am very easy going. I love snuggles and relaxing. Sure, being a pup I have my energetic bursts too, like when I’m excited to see you! But I have learnt the word “sit” and am also learning that I get more praise when I do the right thing!. I am also already toilet trained!

As I said, everything is new to me so I can get scared sometimes. If I pee a little when I'm asked to go somewhere new at first, I hope my new family will forgive me? Once I start going out and about more and learn that the world is a friendly place, I will get more confident. I am learning to be on a lead, but of course I am a puppy! I would love to go to training classes to learn more and meet new friends..

I'm not into digging or chewing. I’m still learning what toys are as they are new to me too! I’m hoping to find a kind and gentle home where there is an abundance of love and maybe some kids to cuddle with ♥️

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, flea and worm treatment, puppy vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership) and sterilisation at 6 months at a approved vet clinic (see list below).

ADOPTION DETAILS
Adoption Fee: $650

Our adoption process includes a meet-and-greet with you (and any dog already in your household, along with their vaccination card); a property check and a 2 week trial period to ensure your pup is the right fit for your home.

Adoption fee must be deposited electronically into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts. SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your pet's microchip once the trial period is completed.

To arrange sterilisation at 6 months old, a SAFE approved vet clinic (see below) should be selected:
