About Jonny SUA014417
Meet Jonny, a distinguished gentleman with a flair for independence and a request for tranquility. Jonny is the perfect choice for those looking for a mellow companion who delights in the subtleties of companionship without the need for constant attention. With his gentle demeanor, this quiet guy is happy in his own company and appreciates a peaceful environment where he can lounge by a window and soak up the sun.
Though Jonny values his independence, he has a soft spot for being near his humans. He doesn't like being over-cuddled, but his affection unfolds as he chooses—a serene presence that fills the room without demanding the spotlight. If you become his person, and he deems you deserving of, Jonny adores transforming your lap into his personal retreat, a rewarding gesture for those who resonate with his lifestyle.
While Jonny doesn't share his space with fellow felines, he may consider a peaceful coexistence with a canine companion, provided they respect his proclivity for a little personal space. Outside playtime is not on his agenda, as he's never experienced free roaming and prefers to keep life indoors, comfortably safe and sound.
For anyone who appreciates an independent, yet loving, companion, Jonny is an incredible addition to your household. He is looking for the same kind of calm and pudgy presence -- someone who gets it.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
