About Leo
Meet Leo - Your Wild-at-Heart Adventure Buddy! 🐾
At just 10 months old and 27kg of playful energy, Leo is a striking young pup who turns heads with his African wild dog looks and big, goofy grin. He's full of life and curiosity, always ready to explore, play, and make every day an adventure!
Leo is still learning about the world and needs an owner who can guide him with patience and consistency. As a large, untrained puppy, he's a bit of a whirlwind right now - but with the right training and structure, he's going to grow into an incredible, loyal companion. Positive reinforcement, plenty of exercise, and a good routine will help him shine and bring out his best side.
Because Leo can be a bit boisterous, he's looking for an adult-only, single-dog home where he can focus on his training and build a strong bond with his person. He's eager to learn, smart as a whip, and will thrive with someone who enjoys working with him and celebrating his progress.
If you want to adopt Leo and guide him to reach his full potential, you'll gain a devoted best friend and adventure buddy for life.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
