About Koby
eet Koby, the playful and affectionate Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog mix with a heart as good as gold! This charming and goofy boy is sure to win your heart with his friendly demeanor and endless love for fun.
Koby is the ideal companion for anyone who spends time in nature. His love for the great outdoors means he thrives on adventures, whether it's a hike in the woods, a run in the park, or simply exploring your backyard. Imagine the joy of sharing these experiences with a loyal, happy-go-lucky dog who’s always ready for adventure!
Koby gets along famously with other dogs and would relish the company of a fellow canine companion. This social pup finds happiness in playtime, running, and romping around – alone or with friends. Crate-trained for sleeping and house-trained, Koby has already mastered many skills that make living with him a breeze.
This affectionate boy doesn't just enjoy play; he also cherishes those calm moments where he can soak up love and attention from his human friends. If you’re looking for a four-legged friend with a zest for life and a heart full of love, Koby could be your perfect match. Join him in his love for the outdoors, and you'll both enjoy countless tail-wagging moments together!
Currently residing with his foster sister, Koby gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s affectionate, playful, and ready to win over your heart. Koby would thrive with a female companion of similar size and energy, as he enjoys having a buddy to hang out with.
Temperament: Koby is a cheerful, well-behaved pup who adores both people and fellow canines.
He loves playing chase and zooming around the yard, but his absolute favorite activity is chasing a ball — and he’s always eager for another round!
Between games, he’s a gentle soul who enjoys curling up on the couch for a well-deserved rest.
Koby’s balanced temperament makes him an excellent match for an active family seeking a loving, loyal companion.
Koby enjoys human company and has lived with school-aged children without any issues, as long as they can handle a bit of puppy excitement. He is polite for his age around people and has received some basic training, which we hope his new family will continue.
Koby is currently fostered with a young female dog, and they enjoy racing around the backyard together. He has also had a play date with a male wolfhound without any problems. He has shown to enjoy the company of other dogs, we haven’t observed any issues around other dogs
Koby is fully house-trained and already exhibits great manners for a young dog. He’s also fully crate trained, sleeps soundly overnight, and knows the command “bed” to go into his crate. He’s smart, eager to please, and picks up new cues quickly.
While he’s still learning to walk nicely on a leash, continued training will help him improve.
His enthusiasm and intelligence make him a joy to train, especially with a tasty treat or two as motivation!
Child Koby thrives on activity and mental stimulation. He’ll love joining you for walks, hikes, or playtime in the yard.
A few daily rounds of fetch will make his day!
Koby has previously lived as an only dog but has shown a preference for the company of another dog. We hope to rehome him with a female companion of similar size and energy. He can take a while to settle on his own but with company he has no issues outside on his own Inside the home
Koby is well mannered and will rest on a mat or crate. Being young he can get a little excited now and again. He has not had any issues with destructive behaviour in the home but we believe all dogs should be supervised inside the home
Koby travels well in the car.
Koby is crate trained and sleeps well without any issues.
Ideal Home:
Koby would flourish in a home with another friendly dog for companionship, as he takes a while to settle on his own but has no issues if he has a friend. A yard with space for zoomies would be perfect. His ideal family will have the time and love to include him in their daily routines, along with plenty of play, exercise, and training. A home with secure fencing and dog-savvy kids would be ideal.
