🐾 Meet Wonton — The Ultimate Mummy’s Boy 🐾
Introducing Wonton! This adorable little guy came to AWL via a Sydney pound with his devoted mum, Anika. The two share a beautiful bond — even after Anika lovingly took on extra kittens as her own. Ideally, we’d love to see them adopted together, as they are truly inseparable. ❤️
Wonton still curls up with his mum to sleep, and Anika even carries him outside to enjoy the cat enclosure at their foster carer’s home. He’s super cute, super cuddly, and without a doubt, a mummy’s boy through and through.
Wonton is a medium-haired kitten, so he’ll need regular grooming to keep his coat soft and healthy — please keep this in mind before applying to adopt him and Anika.
They’re currently in foster care in Western Sydney (not at the Kemps Creek Shelter). We are now taking adoption applications, so if you think you can give this beautiful duo the loving forever home they deserve, please complete the online application linked in Wonton’s profile.

STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
