About Tabitha
Tabitha is the kind of cat who lights up a home the moment she steps into it—friendly, charming, and endlessly curious. With her stunning mix of grey-and-white stripes and spots, she’s as gorgeous on the outside as she is delightful in personality. She adores people, loves attention, and brings a joyful energy to every room she wanders into.
With familiar people, Tabitha is exceptionally loving—she tends to bond deeply with one special person, showering them with most of her snuggles and affection. But she’s social with everyone and never holds back her enthusiasm. She’s the first to greet you at the door, happily inspecting new arrivals, having a good sniff, and checking out what they’re up to. She’s endlessly engaged and always wants to be part of the action.
Tabitha’s affectionate side is sweet and wonderfully quirky: she loves cuddles, but only if you offer her a blanket (she’s a lady with standards!). Expect head boops, gentle taps on your leg when she’s asking for attention, and adorable “sniff-kisses” when you lean close to her. She’s chatty, expressive, and loves to “talk” her way through the day as she follows you from room to room.
This clever girl is also a fierce bug hunter—one of her proudest talents. Whether she’s perched at the window keeping watch or doing her nightly rounds to check on everyone before bed, she takes her household duties seriously.
Tabitha would thrive in a calm, indoor-only home with people who are around often enough to enjoy her company. She hasn’t lived with other pets, but she’s so people-focused that she’s happiest being the sole queen of her castle. A safe outdoor space, like a catio or supervised time on a harness, would be a wonderful bonus for this active, energetic explorer.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
