Meet Binx, a quiet and beautiful black cat named after the beloved character from Hocus Pocus, but unlike his namesake, our Binx hasn't yet found his magic.

Right now, Binx is struggling in the shelter. He's completely shut down, spending his days hiding away from the world, too overwhelmed to show us who he truly is. There's no aggression in him ... just fear, confusion, and the heartbreaking stillness of a cat who doesn't know he's safe yet. Every soft blink and tiny movement feels like a whisper of hope that somewhere out there, someone will give him the gentle love he's waiting for.

Sadly, black cats like Binx are often overlooked in shelters. They're the last to be chosen, and the first to be forgotten, and we can't bear the thought of Binx spending one more day here waiting for someone to see him for the treasure he is.

Binx needs a patient, compassionate person. Someone who understands that healing takes time. Someone who's ready to offer quiet companionship, gentle encouragement, and a safe space where he can slowly rediscover the warmth of human love.
