Duke is a gorgeous Rottweiler turning 3 in December 2025. He’s searching for an experienced, adults-only home—ideally with someone who understands the breed and is committed to ongoing training. He is desexed and vaccinated.
💙 About Duke:
• Affectionate and loyal once he trusts you (world-class lap dog!)
• Protective of his family and property
• Sensitive about his head—please don’t pat or touch his head
• Struggles with fear-based anxiety/reactivity, especially around unfamiliar dogs and strangers (especially men)
• Must be kept on-lead in public—no dog parks or off-lead areas
• Dog selective: gets along with some dogs (currently lives happily with a male German Rottweiler)
🎾 Favourite Toys: Frisbee, plastic bottles, rope toys, Kong, squeaky toys
🏃 Favourite Activities: Running/jogging, walking, swimming
Duke requires a halti when walking.
Duke needs an owner who respects his need for space and is dedicated to helping him thrive. He may need a few meet-and-greets before settling into his new home.
