About Nova
Introducing Nova, a stunning brindle greyhound who's recently retired from racing and is now ready to trade the track for a warm bed and a loving family.
At 2½ years old, Nova is full of grace and charm. She's a gentle, affectionate girl who adores people and is always happy to be near her humans. Nova has a calm, easygoing nature - she loves her walks, enjoys exploring the world at her own pace, and is just as content relaxing quietly at home.
Since leaving her racing days behind, Nova has been learning all about pet life, and she's doing wonderfully. She's discovering that soft beds, belly rubs, and gentle companionship are the best rewards of all.
💖 Nova's ideal home:
A loving family or individual who'll give her time to settle into home life
A secure yard or safe space to stretch her long legs
Daily walks and lots of relaxation
Plenty of affection and a cozy spot to nap
Nova is ready to shine in her new life - full of love, loyalty, and quiet companionship. If you're looking for a sweet, elegant, and gentle friend, Nova could be the perfect match.
Come meet this brindle beauty and let her win your heart! 🐾

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
