About Glacier
Meet Glacier - The Biggest Goof You'll Ever Love!
Glacier's story began in a tough place-abandoned in a vacant property with no one coming back for him. But now, this handsome red-coated boy is ready for a fresh start filled with love, laughter, and second chances.
With soulful eyes and a gentle spirit, Glacier will melt your heart the moment you meet him. He hasn't had the easiest start in life, so he truly knows when he's onto a good thing-and he'll cherish every ounce of kindness you give. Beneath his shy exterior lies a goofy, clumsy comedian who will keep you smiling with his endearing antics. Think of him as a quiet soul who blossoms into a bundle of personality once he feels safe.
What Glacier Needs:
A calm, patient, and consistent home where he can build confidence at his own pace.
Older kids who understand his gentle nature.
He's dog-social and enjoys playdates or walks with canine friends, but at home he'd thrive as the only dog-or with a very tolerant mentor dog who can teach him the finer points of polite play.
Glacier is available for adoption or foster-to-adopt, giving you the chance to help him bloom into his best self. It won't take long-his heart is ready, and he's eager to love.
If you're ready to help this shy red boy find his confidence-and gain a goofy best friend along the way-reach out today!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
