About Cleo
Meet Cleo, a charming small Staffy with a heart full of love and loyalty. This gorgeous girl is seeking a family who understands and appreciates the unique charisma and energy of the Staffy breed. Cleo's affectionate nature is sure to melt your heart as she follows you around the house, eager to be a part of every moment with her people.
Cleo is a dream to walk on a lead, making daily strolls a delightful experience for both of you. Whether she's accompanying you on leisurely walks or relaxing at your feet during a quiet evening at home, Cleo's presence is calming and joyful. Her love for her human companions is unwavering; she'll quickly become your new best friend and a cherished member of your family.
As a loyal "shadow," Cleo's perfect match would be a household where she can be the solo pet. Being the only dog allows her to bask in all the love and attention she desires. If you are Staffy-savvy and looking for a loyal companion who will bring an abundance of affection and companionship into your life, Cleo is ready to join your family. The strong bond you form with her will be one of the most rewarding relationships you will ever have.
Medical notes
General Comments: Cleo was found to have an anal mass when she was admitted to the Warrnambool Animal Shelter. The mass was excised and sent for pathologist evaluation, which diagnosed the mass as a Low-Grade Mast Cell Tumour, excised with narrow margins. Distant spread, or metastasis, of this mass is very unlikely (less than 5% of cases), although there is a small chance that this mass may regrow at the same site. To best manage this condition, Cleo should be monitored for regrowth a mass over her anal area, and any new masses noted should be sampled and diagnosed promptly by a veterinarian.
Cleo has an excellent prognosis to live a very normal life and is otherwise found to be healthy.
