🐾 Meet Laurie – Your Big Cuddly Teddy Bear in Training 🐾
Laurie is a gorgeous, gentle-natured pup who was sadly dumped at the pound as a baby along with his three siblings. Thankfully, DM Rescue stepped in, and he has been blossoming ever since in his loving foster home with his foster mum, her 6-year-old daughter, and their playful 3-year-old kelpie, Stella.

From the moment he arrived, Laurie showed just how much love he has to give. Despite having very little human contact early in life, he welcomed cuddles straight away — and now they’re mandatory morning, noon, and night! This boy is a true snuggle bug with the softest heart.

Laurie sleeps in a comfy, bedded crate filled with his favourite chew toys (he’s currently teething!). He’s a bit unsure when the door is closed, but happily snoozes with it open. He’s also still learning his name, so he’s at the perfect age for adopters wanting to choose a new one. Honestly, “Bear” would suit him — those big paws promise he’ll grow into a gentle giant.

He is food-motivated, eager to please, and working hard on his basic commands. He LOVES a bone to help with teething and adores spending hours playing with his foster sister — wrestling, chasing, chatting, and keeping each other entertained. Laurie moves like a big slinky, rolling off the couch and wriggling around the floor in the most adorable way.

He handled his first bath like a champ thanks to Stella showing him the ropes. He walks beautifully on a lead — no pulling — though he does enjoy sniffing everything the world has to offer! He has completely mastered the doggy door and is fully house trained.

Laurie would thrive in a home with kids who are comfortable around bigger dogs. He’d be perfectly happy as an only dog if he has lots of stimulation and playtime, but he’d also absolutely love a canine companion who enjoys a good wrestle.

This big teddy bear will give you endless cuddles, the occasional kiss, and constant companionship. He’s full of love, energy, and potential — still growing, still learning, and ready to become the best version of himself with a family of his own.
