Meet Maxie, a vibrant and charming one-year-old Staffy cross brimming with youthful energy and love. With a friendly disposition and a heart as big as his personality, Maxie is eager to become an integral part of a lively and loving family. Weighing in at around 25kg, this fully vetted and desexed boy is ready to step into your life with a spring in his step and a wagging tail.
Maxie thrives in the company of other dogs and is known for his boisterous playstyle, making him a perfect playmate for those with existing furry companions. His high energy and enthusiasm for life mean he would best suit a home with secure 1.8m fencing to keep his adventurous spirit safely contained. Maxie's playful nature is a delight, although his exuberance and lively energy are better suited for families with older children who can match his zest for life.
While Maxie prefers his human companions over feline ones, he has no aggression towards cats, making interactions smooth if they come across each other in passing. He is ready for new journeys to enjoy walks and interactive play. Knowing he is house-trained will give you peace of mind that he will smoothly fit into the household.
Located in Durack, Maxie is eagerly waiting to find a family who shares his love of the outdoors and the joy of companionship. With an adoption fee of $395, he's not just looking for a home – he's looking for a family who will embrace his energetic lifestyle and give him the loving home he deserves. If you think you could provide Maxie with the exciting and loving life he's searching for, come meet him and let him win you over with his infectious excitement and lovable charm.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee (per dog) . This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
