🐾 Meet Ledger – The Cool, Clever, Family-Ready Adventure Buddy 🐾

From the moment you meet Ledger, you can’t help but smile. He’s the kind of pup who radiates joy — a cheeky, cuddly, charming boy who’s always ready for fun, always ready to love, and always ready to be part of the family action. With his gentle nature and confident little swagger, Ledger wins hearts instantly.

Ledger is currently thriving in foster care with primary school–aged children, and he absolutely lights up around them. He waits at the door each afternoon, tail wagging wildly, ready for after-school cuddles, backyard games, and all the affection his little heart can hold. He’s truly a kid’s best friend in the making.

But Ledger’s journey didn’t start this bright. He and his siblings — Laurie, Lacey & Lesley — were discovered in a rural pound drop box with no information about their past. Despite this rough beginning, Ledger has grown into a happy, sociable, playful pup who embraces every moment of love and friendship offered to him. The pups appear to be a Huntaway (NZ Kelpie) x Australian Cattle Dog mix, and at around 20 weeks old, his big paws promise he’ll grow into a strong, impressive adult.

Ledger is all about good vibes, fast feet, and fun times. He loves wrestling and playing with other dogs, exploring the yard, and showing off his best poses for the camera. But underneath the excitement is a gentle, affectionate boy who adores snuggles just as much as playtime.

Even though he came into care with no previous training, Ledger is picking things up beautifully. He is:
✔ Walking very well on lead
✔ Sitting on command
✔ Learning not to jump up
✔ Perfecting his irresistible “puppy eyes”
✔ Fully crate trained
✔ House trained
✔ Eager to please and proud when praised

He’s a quick learner who loves treats, toys, and the joy of making his humans happy.
