Don’t let the name fool you! Zen is full of energy and personality! He’s a playful, affectionate boy who loves to snuggle up with both humans and other cats. Whether it’s curling up on the couch, following you around the house, or sharing a warm spot on the bed, Zen thrives on attention and companionship.

He’s also a big foodie, always first in line when food comes out and not shy about helping himself to other cats’ food if given the chance! His love of food is matched only by his curiosity. Zen likes to think he’s “one of the humans,” following you from room to room and keeping a close eye on whatever you’re up to.

One of his favourite hobbies is bird watching from a sunny window, where he’ll happily entertain himself with the sights outside.

Zen would make a wonderful companion for someone who can give him lots of love, playtime, and affection. He’s best suited for a home that enjoys an interactive and cuddly cat who will be a loyal friend.

Zen is approximately 3 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
