About Mila
Mila (aka Pocket Mastiff, Cuddle Queen, Professional Heart Healer)
Meet Mila, just turned 1 year, officially a Mastiff cross, but before you picture a tank, slow your roll. This girl weighs in at just 19kg, more “petite Kelpie vibes” than “guard dog of the gates.” She’s living proof that big love can come in smallish packages.
Mila came into SARG’s care about three months ago in pretty rough shape after being neglected and severely underweight. Fast forward to now and she’s blossomed into the sweetest little love bug. She’s still learning that not all humans are bad (especially the male ones who she’s still a bit wary of) but she’s getting braver every day.
Once she knows you’re one of the good ones, Mila goes all in with full cuddle mode, soft eyes, the whole deal.
She’s currently rocking life with other dogs, both boys and girls, has been around little kids, and is fully crate trained. Basically, she’s that quiet achiever who pretends she’s shy but secretly wants to be teacher’s pet.
Mila’s already desexed and will be having eyelid surgery in early November to fix her inverted lashes, just a little beauty treatment so she can flutter those eyes pain-free.
Her dream home is with someone gentle, patient, and ready to show her the world isn’t such a scary place. Bonus points if you like snuggling, because once she’s in your lap, she’s not moving.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
