Introducing Teddy, an energetic and intelligent dog who's looking for a family that appreciates his lively spirit and loving nature. Teddy’s perfect match would be an experienced dog-owning family equipped to provide the training and guidance he needs to thrive.

Teddy gets along famously with all animals, including cats, dogs, and even livestock. While he loves children, we recommend households without small kids as his enthusiasm can get the better of him, resulting in accidental jumps that might be too much for the littlest family members or the elderly. With adults and older children, Teddy is a fantastic playmate, bringing joy and laughter to everyday life.

Teddy is a bit of a people person and prefers to spend plenty of time with his human friends. While you can leave him alone for short periods, he would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the day to keep him company. Over time once he has settled and feels more secure, and with another playmate, he may be able to be left for longer periods!

Teddy travels well and has a lot of energy, which he balances by settling down beautifully when playtime is over.

House training is a work in progress, but he’s crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night in it. On a lead, he's a joy to walk, and his skills in managing himself on a leash make him a great companion for long walks or hikes. Teddy's new family needs to have experience with dogs and should be committed to continuing his training, helping him hone his skills while providing him with the love and encouragement he craves.

Teddy's affectionate nature, high energy, and good-natured personality make him a delightful addition to the right family, especially one that might already include another dog. With time, training, and love, Teddy is sure to become an irreplaceable part of your home.
