Hi, I’m Kenzo 🐾

I need to be upfront about something really important — I must go to a home with another dog. I’m a sensitive soul and I rely on my doggy friends to help me feel safe and confident. I absolutely love other dogs and I’m social and polite both at home and out at dog parks, but I do look to another dog to show me that everything is okay.
I’m not suited to being a solo dog, so please make sure you already have a friendly, well-balanced dog at home for me ❤️

I’ve already experienced more than most dogs ever should. My brother and I were dumped out in the bush and left to fend for ourselves, with no one to trust and nowhere to go. Thankfully, a very kind and determined human refused to give up on us, and that’s how I made it to safety.

I’ve been with Bull Arab Rescue since I was just a few months old. While I was unsure and a bit scared at first, with time, patience, and love, I’ve started to come out of my shell. I’m a gentle brindle boy with a soft heart, and I look to my humans (and my doggy friends) for reassurance.

I’m crate trained — actually, I really love my crate! It’s my safe space where I can relax and feel secure. I’m also toilet trained and will give a little repetitive yip to let you know when I need to go out.

I adore playing with other dogs and enjoy my toys, but I am still learning that the world is a safe place. I’ll need a calm, patient home that will go at my pace and give me the time I need to settle in. With gentle guidance and consistency, I form really deep, loyal bonds — I’m the kind of dog who will love you quietly but completely.

I am 1.5 years old and I am ready to find my forever family.

I haven’t been tested with cats, but I truly don’t have a mean bone in my body. With the right introductions and guidance, I’ll always look to you to show me what’s right.
