Lenny

Lenny is a 2-year-old Border Collie with a heart as soft as his fur and a brain that's always ready to work for a tasty treat. He's friendly, curious and quick to explore new places, offering a gentle tail wag when offered treats. Lenny already knows sit and can be lured to a drop, is improving his confidence with handling and touch, and is very food motivated - a real snack-ademic who learns best with delicious incentives. He's affectionate with people he trusts, and will happily sit close for a calm cuddle when he's feeling secure. He may be able to go to a home with older children in it, pending a meet and greet with them on site.

Around other dogs Lenny is a bit conflicted and prefers a slow, gradual hello, so he'll need gentle, supervised socialisation to build confidence. He shows polite curiosity at a distance, so a measured introduction plan will help him blossom. For this reason, he will need a home with no other dogs in it while his confidence builds. Lenny's bright, lovely nature and love of treats make him a paws-itively promising companion for someone ready to invest in patient training, mental games and plenty of tasty rewards.
