About Suzie
Hi I’m Suzie a 3 year old female black and tan kelpie. Through no fault of my own I’ve been made redundant from my job on the farm and now I’m looking for my forever home.
I’m a gentle soul who takes a little time to warm up, but once I do, I melt into your arms and lap to happily soak up all the pats you can give. I love stretching my legs and zooming around the backyard but have a great off switch and will happily snooze in my crate inside. I follow my foster mum around like a little shadow, helping her out with whatever tasks we have on for the day.
In foster care I’ve learn that my crate is my safe place, I rest in here when inside and sleep through the night in my crate without a peep. I’m working on my manners and basic obedience and know how to sit, jump up in the back of the car, come to my name and a whistle, I walk well on the lead, and travel well in the car. I’m still learning to avoid jumping when I’m excited or nervous, but every day I’m blossoming into the sweet, confident and affectionate girl that I am.
I’m looking for calm, patient home where trust can be built at my own pace. I would suit living with another male dog that is calm and confident. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with silky ears, puppy dog eyes and a heart of gold, I might just be your perfect match!
Suzie is located in VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
