About Meeko STA014327
Introducing Meeko, a distinguished senior gentleman with a heart full of love and a serene presence that will bring peace to your home. This absolute sweetheart is seeking a kindred spirit with whom to share his golden years. If you're looking for a calm, relaxed companion to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, Meeko could be the perfect match.
Meeko is a senior who appreciates the finer things in retirement—relaxation, tranquility, and a cozy spot to watch the world go by. With his gentle demeanor, he is an ideal choice for a home that reflects his preference for a peaceful environment. Meeko isn't looking to share his space with young children or dogs; his ideal setting is one where he can relish the undivided attention and care of his human companion.
While Meeko is a seasoned adventurer in life, his health remains robust, apart from a touch of arthritis typical of his age. However, this doesn’t dampen his spirit or his capacity to love and be loved. Offering companionship and solace, Meeko thrives in the presence of a human who cherishes the quiet company of a senior cat.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
