About Kenny
🐾 MEET KENNY — the Bulldog with a heart as big as his smile 🐾
Meet Kenny, a 6 year and 5 month old British Bulldog with a heart as big as his grin and a personality that shines in every moment. Kenny came into rescue as a private surrender, through no fault of his own, and has been charming everyone since.
💛 Personality
Kenny is the perfect blend of chill and playful. Most of the time he’s a laid-back companion who loves to lounge in the sun or snooze wherever he pleases. But when his humans arrive home or playtime begins, this boy can burst into joyful, excited energy — complete with enthusiastic bum wiggles.
He’s a gentle, intuitive soul who knows exactly how to soften himself around younger children, yet happily joins in more energetic games with older kids and adults. He truly is a wonderful family dog for all ages.
🐶 Social Butterfly
Kenny gets along beautifully with other dogs, showing no issues with any breed or size. He’s happy sharing his world with a canine friend, but equally content being the only dog soaking up all the love.
However:
• Kenny is a firm NO with cats or small animals.
• Kenny cannot be adopted to a home with a male Bulldog.
• Kenny is not suitable for homes with dogs under 5kg due to the risk of accidental squishability.
With people, Kenny is all heart — greeting everyone with joy and a goofy grin that makes it impossible not to smile back.
🏡 Home Life
This handsome Bulldog isn’t much of a barker. He prefers cuddles, pats, and simply being near his humans.
He is toilet trained but can still have the occasional accident, even with backyard access — so it’s still a gentle work in progress.
He hasn’t had much experience with crates or doggy doors, but his easy-going nature suggests he’d adapt well with patience and guidance.
🚶♂️ Walks & Exercise
Walks are one of Kenny’s simple pleasures. He’s good on the lead and enjoys a quiet stroll, but as a brachycephalic breed, he can’t walk long distances and must avoid heat completely.
Short, easy walks followed by couch time, air conditioning, and affection? Kenny-approved.
🛁 Grooming
True to his breed, Kenny requires some grooming — especially regular cleaning of his adorable facial folds — but he’s such a good-natured boy that keeping him comfortable is a breeze.
🌞 What Kenny Loves
• Cuddling with his humans
• Gentle play with kids
• Soaking up sunshine
• Being near his family
• Treats, praise, affection — he loves it all!
❄️ Important Breed Care
As a Bulldog, Kenny must have 24/7 indoor access, especially to air conditioning.
He cannot be left outside for hours or locked outdoors while people are at work. His wellbeing depends on temperature-controlled comfort.
Kenny is a funny, loving goofball who brings laughter, loyalty, and companionship wherever he goes. He makes every day brighter just by being part of it — curled up beside you, making you laugh with his antics, or gazing at you with those soulful, gentle eyes.
Kenny is ready to find his forever home — one filled with love, comfort, and plenty of sunny spots for lazing.
If you’re searching for a gentle, affectionate companion who will adore you endlessly, Kenny might just be the perfect match.
🐾 Are you the perfect home for Kenny? 🧡
