Sage

Hi, I am Sage. I am the kind of kitten who always keeps things interesting. I spend most of my day running at full speed, chasing my siblings, or pouncing on anything that moves. When I finally slow down, you will usually find me curled up in a soft pile of towels. Clean or dirty, it makes no difference to me. Towels are my happy place.

I get along really well with other cats. I eat with them, nap with them and play with them all day long. Dogs are a different story. It will take me a while to get used to a resident dog, so I might hiss at the beginning. I am not scared, just making sure they know I saw them. I think I could live with a dog, though we probably would not be best friends.

I like people, especially small humans. I have taken quite a liking to the kids in my foster home. They are fun and always up for a game. I do not hide when new people come over, but I do not rush to say hello either. I prefer to keep doing my own thing until I decide to join in.

I love chasing anything that rolls or dangles. Balls, strings, or even my own tail if nothing else is moving. I am very good with my litter and I really like when my box is clean. I am an easygoing boy who just happens to hiss when surprised, kind of like that one friend who screams then laughs every single time. That is me.

One small warning though. If my fur happens to match your floors, you might lose sight of me. I am excellent at blending in. I love a good nap in a cosy hidey hole, and if you have a stack of fresh towels, I will think you made it just for me. I am playful, a little quirky, and full of love. Once you get to know me, I will make you laugh every day.
