Hi, I’m River, and I’m a playful, confident little girl who loves food, fun and good company. I might be the boldest of my siblings because I am always the first to explore, the first to eat and definitely the first to win your heart. I love being around people, and I’m perfectly happy to be the only pet in a home where I can be part of the family.

I get along beautifully with other cats and spend most of my time playing and exploring with my siblings. Dogs do not bother me much either. I might hiss in surprise at first, but once I know they are friendly, I just go about my day. I am great with children and my foster carer’s child completely stole my heart. I will snuggle, be carried and even go for a ride in a pram. I am easy going and gentle, which makes me a lovely companion for kids.

When it comes to strangers, I am curious and calm. I will check them out, but I do not run away or hide. I have been amazing with my litter training from day one. I love chasing balls, batting them across the floor and racing around the house with my brothers.

Food is definitely the key to my heart. Once you give me treats or dinner, I’ll remember who you are and make you my person. I twirl around your legs, let you cuddle me and sometimes even nap nearby. I enjoy pats and cuddles, but I am also happy to sit beside you or be petted while standing on the floor. I like hidey holes and soft spots for napping, especially when they are close to my favourite humans.

I am a happy, social kitten who will bring warmth and laughter into your home. Win me over with food and love, and I will become your loyal little friend for life.
