Lilo is a petite, sweet-hearted young Kelpie with a gentle, soft nature. She’s friendly when meeting new people, though she can be a little submissive while she figures out the situation — a calm, steady approach helps her feel safe and understood. It’s new places, busy environments, and sudden changes that can feel overwhelming for her, so a quiet and predictable home will suit her beautifully.

As a Kelpie, Lilo has plenty of energy and smarts, so she’ll thrive in a home that can provide daily physical exercise and mental enrichment. Sniffy walks, puzzle feeders, fun training games, and calm outings to new environments will help her grow confidence and learn the world is safe.

Lilo loves the company of other dogs and would do wonderfully with a well-socialised, confident adult dog who can show her the ropes and help her settle. A steady dog companion can bring out her playful, relaxed side and help her feel secure in new situations.
