About Oreo- Meet me @ Petstock Prahran!
Meet Oreo, the handsome gentleman with striking black and white coloring and a heart just as sweet as his name. This beautiful boy is the definition of calm and gentle, bringing a peaceful and affectionate presence to any home he’s in.
Oreo absolutely loves being brushed and could happily spend hours soaking up affection. He enjoys pats all over, even tummy rubs, and when he’s feeling extra relaxed, he’ll stretch right out beside you to invite more love. His soft nature and affectionate personality make him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a cat who enjoys quiet company and calm affection.
Oreo currently lives with two adults and two teenagers and fits right into family life. He’s confident and curious, staying in the room when guests visit and sometimes even coming over to say hello once he feels comfortable. He’s also a chatty boy who loves to “talk” with his humans, start a conversation with him, and he’ll happily answer back with the sweetest little meows.
This boy is all about togetherness. He spends his days lounging on a cushion beside his foster dad while he works or napping peacefully in the lounge room where the family gathers. With gentle encouragement, he welcomes joining you on the couch for company, content to sit nearby and keep you company without demanding attention. At night, he’ll sometimes hop onto the end of the bed, where he sleeps quietly through the night without a sound. His new favorite spot is a dining chair in the kitchen, the perfect place to keep an eye on his humans and feel part of the action.
Oreo is not the most playful of cats, but if a toy involves food, his curiosity sparks and he’ll show a little more enthusiasm. He’s fine being picked up briefly but is happiest when his paws are on the ground, sharing your space in his calm, contented way.
Oreo is a truly special cat, gentle, affectionate, and easy to love. He would suit almost any home that values companionship, quiet moments, and the unconditional comfort of a cat who simply loves being near his people. With Oreo around, every day feels a little calmer, a little warmer, and a lot more love.
Oreo is currently at Petstock Prahran in their adoption unit. Everyone is invited to head in store to meet Oreo during store operation hours.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
