About Keller
🐾 Meet Keller
Keller is a bright, energetic boy with loads of potential and plenty of love to give. He’s proven himself to be a loyal companion who thrives on playtime, attention, and mental stimulation.
Keller enjoys playing with the hose, chasing toys, and fetching anything you’ll throw his way. He’s affectionate, alert, and full of life — the kind of dog who will make you laugh with his cheeky personality and smart ways.
He’s shown he’s great with other dogs in his home environment, though he can get excited on walks and will bark or pull towards dogs in yards. With some consistent training and guidance, he’s sure to learn quickly — he’s very intelligent and eager to please.
Keller does bark when strangers walk past but not excessively — he’s just doing his job as a good little watchdog!
🏡 Ideal Home:
Keller will need a home with secure, high fencing as he’s proven to be a bit of an escape artist when left behind. He’s come back each time, but he’ll be safest in a home where he can’t test his athletic abilities!
Keller would thrive in a home where someone has time to play with him, continue his training, and include him in their daily routine.
At the end of the day, Keller is just a good dog looking for the right home — one that will match his energy, patience, and heart. 💙

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
*Same gender adoptions will not be considered. Same sex aggression is something at Promising Paws we will avoid. *
