About Athena
ATHENA — Sweet, Steady & Smart
Meet Athena, named after the Greek goddess of wisdom, war and crafts — and she certainly lives up to the “wisdom” part. This sweet-tempered, well-mannered girl has impressed everyone she’s met.
When her foster mum picked her up from the vet, Athena happily greeted her and jumped straight into the car for her next adventure. At home, she politely introduced herself to her male foster brother and explored the yard with calm confidence. Even in a brand-new environment, she showed great recall and clearly knows her basic commands.
Athena weighs 25 kgs, is house-trained and crate-trained, and absolutely adores toys — balls, tug, you name it. Her young human foster brother describes her as soft and gentle, and that sums her up beautifully.
She recently visited the markets, where she was polite, friendly, and welcoming to every person who stopped to say hello. Her foster family is delighted by her manners; it’s obvious she came from a loving home where she was cared for and well trained.
Her dominant breed is Red Cattle Dog, and she’s as adaptable as they come.
