About Rosemarie
Rosemarie is a very social girl who is the mother of the famous Urunga Maremma crew (with her three young 'uns Rosealee, Rosie and Rosco). It's hard to know what she enjoys most - a tasty treat or a good long scratch on the belly. Rosemarie is quite cheeky and likes to play chase at bedtime which has become an established game that she delights in.
She thoroughly enjoys her walks on lead and is curious and confident.
She would be fine as part of a family with older kids although being a Maremma she does bark to alert to novel things and would do best living outside of town. We know she has ever worked as a guardian but is not good with chickens and is probably with goats and cattle but not sure about sheep. She would likely do well with the right introduction and training, however she does enjoy the company of people so being solo without social time probably isn't her thing. She would love to go with one of her pups or another dog if possible. Please read up on the Maremma breed before inquiring.

Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc.
