🐾 Meet Rocky – Future Family Hero
Rocky is a natural leader. At the pound, he took on the role of protector for his siblings, showing loyalty and strength beyond his age.
Now safe in foster care, he’s living with older, bigger dogs and learning the ropes from both his canine companions and his human carers.
True to puppy form, Rocky's days are full of play, cheerleading, chasing, napping – and then doing it all over again. He’s full of joy and energy, bringing a spark of fun wherever he goes.
Rocky is toilet trained but he’ll need continued guidance and patience in his new home. He is also learning the commands, sit, stay, shake and lay down and is preforming these really well. Please check out the videos of Rocky.
When Rocky goes to his new home, everything will be new and scary so we advise to take slow steps when introducing him to the world around you. If he displays protective behaviours such as guarding, growling or hackles, it is Rocky saying, “Hey, who and what are you”? “I don’t recognise your smell and I am scared”.
This special boy has a bright future ahead. With the right family, patience, guidance and time Rocky will thrive and grow into a loyal, loving companion.
He’s ready to leave his past behind and live life with the freedom to smile, play, and love.
