About Rocky
Meet Rocky, the new love of your life! Rocky is an outgoing and charming bloke. At home, he is simply a huge snugglebug. He is super gentle, polite and a big ol' smoocher.
Rocky's perfect day involves spending time with his loved ones. First thing in the morning, he might like to hop on the bed for cuddles and some attention. He enjoys a chilled morning walk and then spending his day hanging about the house in close range of snacks and pats.
Rocky has been living with three other greyhounds and a human family with teenagers in his foster home, so he is experienced with a busy home. Rocky is more an inside dog, so a big backyard is not essential.
He's not an anxious boy, and will happily spend time at home without his human family, but would still prefer to be living with someone home more often than not. If he is home alone more often, then he would love to have another doggie pal to keep him company.
Rocky is a smart boy, and is quick to learn and adjust. He has mastered the doggy door and shown no fear or hesitation with stairs. Imagine the things you could teach him next!

STEP 1 – ENQUIRE & EOI FORM:

If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family.
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat process and next steps.
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $375.00 and must be paid before the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, we urge you to contact us to try and work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and all paperwork and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Access to our private Facebook page for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support!
