Hi, my name is Monkey.
Now, a name like Monkey might make you think that I am hyperactive or noisy or love climbing and adventure, but actually... I'm the complete opposite. The staff here call me Monkey as a term of endearment, because I'm: such a shy little monkey.
The shelter has been a really overwhelming place for me and I spend a lot of my time curled up in my bed feeling anxious and hiding from new experiences.
You can win me over, but the key word is: 'Gentle'
I need a gentle voice to talk to me, a gentle hand to stroke me and a gentle heart to love me. Maybe once I find that in my forever home, I'll become the cheeky little Monkey that all cats should get the chance to be.
