About Jed
Jed is a 3-year-old Kelpie boy with a gentle soul who thrives on calm energy, kindness, and clear guidance.
Jed has tried his paw at herding sheep — an activity he enjoys — though he doesn’t quite have the natural “eye” to make it his calling. He adores his sheep and his doggy friends, and gets confidence from having another dog by his side to show him the ropes.
A relaxed and easy-going boy, Jedi enjoys pottering about and taking it easy. He can be shy with new people at first, but with slow, positive introductions he soon warms up.
During his time in foster care, Jed has blossomed, showing his affectionate and gentle nature. He gets along wonderfully with his foster siblings and prefers to have a buddy share his kennel at night.
Jed has been tested with cats, horses, and cattle and shows no interest in herding them. He is crate-trained and sleeps soundly through the night in his crate. His recall and “stop” commands are improving, though he’s still learning some of the basics.
Jed is seeking a calm, patient home where he’ll receive plenty of love, reassurance, and steady guidance. He must have another friendly dog companion to help him feel secure and confident. Jedi would do best in a quiet environment without young children, where he can continue to grow and enjoy the simple, happy life he deserves.
Jed is located VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
