Tilly

Tilly is the sweetest little lady with the most gentle nature.

Tilly thinks she is a working dog 😉 - always supervising your every move making sure you do your chores properly. She inspects the dishwasher, supervises you hanging the washing, watches to make sure all the weeds are pulled from the garden and makes sure you wash your hands when you've been to the bathroom 😂

She is a very loyal companion who adores her human, gets excited for her daily walk trotting along happily. She has NO road sense and must be walked on lead at all times.

During her time in care Tilly has shown to be quite nervous about life, frequently shaking, displaying nervous actions on outings and as such the decision was made to pop her on some medication to help with this.

She still gets excited about the car, but shakes while travelling, she gets excited for her walk, but still is jumpy, she gets excited about a Bunnings trip, but still shakes. She has been on a camping adventure which she enjoyed but of course still had moments of shaking! This has improved a little with the medication and but she will always be nervous by nature. She has never shown any aggression as a result of being nervous but rather looks to her human for comfort.

Tilly's ideal home would be as your one and only companion. She is currently in care with other animals but they make her nervous.

A home with no children as their rowdiness makes her nervous and she seeks a hiding spot. Visiting respectful children would be fine.

A semi-retired or retired single or couple. She is fine being left outside while her carer attends work so shopping trips and outings are not a problem.

Tilly arrived in care overweight and with extremely poor dental health. She has since returned to a healthy weight and has had a much needed dental procedure. Her new owner needs to be committed to this ongoing care for her to live a long a and healthy life.

Before applying please consider the costs of her ongoing medication. Our partner vet costs for this is approx $12.50 per month however this is something that you would need to discuss with your vet.
