Lewis

Say hello to Lewis.. or Lewie or Lou Lou, as his foster carer affectionately calls him! This handsome boy might be a little shy at first, but once he decides you're part of his world, you'll have a loyal and curious companion who'll make every day brighter.

When Lewie first arrived in care, he preferred to keep a low profile, tucked away behind the couch pillows. But with patience (and a few of his favourite Dine Tuna & Prawn Creamy Treats), his sweet and trusting nature began to shine through. Within a week, he was curling up at the end of the bed each night - proof that once he feels safe, he's all in on the snuggles and companionship.

Lewie is a true homebody at heart. He loves to spend his mornings snoozing between the doona and sheets after breakfast, and his afternoons exploring, people-watching from the window sill, or keeping his foster carer company during DIY projects. He's a curious, observant boy who likes to be part of the action - just from a comfortable distance.

While Lewie isn't a lap cat (yet!), he's very affectionate in his own way. He'll gently nudge you ("smudge," as his carer calls it!) for chin scratches and pats, and will politely let you know when he's had enough. He's a cat with excellent manners - no scratching the furniture, no jumping on benches, and always respectful of the house rules.

And then there are his quirks - the ones that make him so lovable. Whether it's joining you in the bathroom for some quality "smudge time," announcing "starving cat syndrome" in the morning with a gentle paw tap or lick, or showing off his late-night zoomies, Lewie never fails to make his human smile.
